Karen Glaser, a gifted American photographer, shot this beautiful and creative photo series from the underwater side of swamps and springs. Glaser says: "These photographs were made in a geographical location that is both seductive and sickening. This place is Florida, home to some of the most unique and breathtaking ecosystems in the world." Glaser's photos give us a look from another perspective, some from behind the curtain of fresh clean water (the springs) while others give us a glimpse through the murky water of a Florida swamp. The photos are stunning, and open a window to a strange, otherworldly beauty, hiding underneath the calm water.
