These Scrap Metal Sculptures Are So Creative!

Australian born-artist James Corbett came up with the unique idea of using old car parts and turning them into incredible lifelike sculptures. Also known as The Car Part Sculptor, the artist spends a lot of time collecting hundreds of components salvaged from vintage cars to sculpt his unique metal figures.
Corbett’s enthusiasm for racing cars and bikes is reflected in his works. His stunning creations include a variety of animals and birds, such as ducks, dogs, hens, and hedgehogs. He ensures that no car part is ignored and uses them in the most creative ways in his figures.
Corbett painstakingly studies his subject before starting the welding process. Each sculpture can take up to three weeks to make, but the end result is pretty amazing! Scroll down and enjoy some of the best metal sculptures by the artist.
