Back when we had read Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift at school, we were all fascinated by the island of Lilliput - just as much as the protagonist of the novel. The people of this fictional island - the Lilliputians - stand only about six inches tall. We've all surely wondered what it would be like to visit their tiny world. Well, we have something for you today that’s a little similar.
Artist Chris Willemsen creates big worlds for miniature people using macro photography - and the result is just too cute. His charming macro photographs depict these tiny figures playfully going about their everyday lives while being paired with normal-sized objects – from reading a book under a mushroom to “fishing” for tea. You will surely enjoy this creative miniature world the artist has created.
