New Zealand’s White Island volcano erupted on Monday the 9th of December, 2019, as 50 people were visiting the country's most active volcano, which hasn't erupted since 2016. Terribly, At least five people were killed and authorities confirmed some people were still waiting to be rescued hours after the eruption, as it was unsafe for emergency services to arrive there again until the eruption calmed down.
