This great and handy color chart was diligently made by Ingrid Sundberg, a write and children's books illustrator. Sundberg says that she loves nothing more than collecting exotic words that give her stories variety. We all have different associations with the words that describe colors, says Sundberg. I know that I have certain associations with 'sepia', for instance, imagining mostly as a light brown, although some see it as a darker hue.
