Still, seeing how various animals, objects, and even human body parts look in a scan reveals extra details about them. X-rays really help visualize what can go wrong with the human body, they show the anatomical structure of odd-looking animals like a hammerhead shark or stingray and can even reveal the hidden details in paintings!
