No-Bake Almond Butter Bars

Yes, peanut butter bars are great. But do you know what's even better? Almond butter bars! This fantastic recipe is a great no-bake vegan treat that anyone can enjoy! It requires only a handful of ingredients and is also gluten-free. What more do you want?

Ingredients for Almond Butter Layer:
Almond butter - 1 cup
Almond flour - 1 cup (blanched)
Agave nectar - 1/4 cup
Coconut oil - 2 tbsp.
Salt - 1/4 tsp.
Ingredients for Chocolate Layer:
Chocolate chips - 1/2 cup
Almond butter - 2 tbsp.
Coconut oil - 1 tbsp.
Method of preparing the Chocolate Layer:
  1. Mix together the almond butter layer ingredients in a medium bowl. Spread the almond butter out in an even layer on a bread pan with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave, in a small bowl. Keep stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  3. Now whisk in the remaining ingredients to the melted chocolate. Then pour the chocolate on top of the almond butter layer and chill in the freezer for 1 hour.
  4. To remove the bars from the pan, slide a knife around the edges of the pan and pull the parchment paper up
  5. Cut into 12 bars. Sprinkle with flaky salt, if desired. Enjoy.
