Every Chess Player Needs a Chess Set Like One of These!

September 1st, 2020, marks an important and historic, albeit relatively underrated American holiday, American Chess Day - not to be confused with National Chess Day, celebrated internationally on July 20th. For every fan of this stimulating game, this is an occasion that certainly needs to be celebrated. In these times of quarantine, we have Alan Turing to thank for writing the first chess computer program in 1950, which has now been developed to allow for full-length online tournaments and other fun chess-related challenges. However, some players enjoy the feel of the chess pieces between their fingers and find something enlightening when gazing at that 64 square board on the table in front of them, close enough to touch. A real chess player is also a collector, not just of clever moves and victories but of game sets.
