An amazing series from the last 20 years of wartime photography by Steve McCurry, an American photojournalist best known for his photograph, "Afghan Girl", which you have probably all seen as the iconic image of National Geographic magazine. Steve has spent the last 3 decades in war torn areas, and has seen the worst of what we can do to each other. The following images are not easy for the eyes or the heart, but they are amazing in their own right and are enough to make almost anyone a pacifist. |
