Sometimes, unexpectedly spotting a fluffy cat can make your day! 'Catospotting' is a Facebook group that enjoys increasing popularity these days, and is dedicated precisely to what the name suggests. Group members post photos of random cats they spotted, sometimes in funny or surprising locations. At other times, the cats are just too cute or unique and resist snapping a photo of them.
"Cats are elusive and have lots of attitudes, so the scenarios you'll find them in are always really interesting," said Ruby Black, the creator of the group, in a statement to Bored Panda. Black explained she started the group back in 2014, and she never imagined it would grow this much. "I created it years ago as just a thing for my friends and me because I kept seeing cute cats and didn't have anywhere to share the encounters."
