We've seen a lot of animal art - art that uses animals to create life-like artistic scenes, but we've never seen it done with nothing but fish heads! Nevertheless, these fish art pieces by Anne-Catherine Becker-Echivard (try saying that 3 times fast!) are more interesting the more we look at them, and the sense of action, of a moment frozen in time, is very strong, not to mention, by the expressions on the fish faces, amusing as well.
The German artist uses fish bought from the local market, and spends up to three months in constructing her pieces, which we must say, are delightfully imaginative and detailed.
