Flowers are like Nature's fireworks, sudden bursts of beauty, color, and light that seem to fade away as quickly as they appear. Our eyes sparkle as we gaze at their lustrous petals, hoping desperately to preserve that shine forever, at least in our minds. Bridget Beth Collins, aka Flora Forager, is one artist that wholeheartedly knows this feeling and wants to keep it alive. This artist has found the perfect way to memorialize fallen and fading flowers and leaves, giving them a new life, and a new home, in gorgeous works of art.
All of her creations are made from leaves, flowers, and foliage foraged from around her neighborhood. The artist's previous work used these recycled leaves and flowers to create other critters of nature and places all over the world, bathed in light floral tones. Now she's back again with these bewitching botanical illustrations depicting playful settings and scenes of delicate splendor.
