Disney animation has a signature style and a clear tendency to make characters look a lot more cutesy than we even realize, with many characters having unrealistically large eyes, extremely dainty facial features, and rounded faces. Holly Fae, an illustrator from California, decided to do an interesting experiment and give everyone’s favorite Disney princesses a makeover, giving their faces more realistic proportions and hence a more lifelike appearance.
She started with Elsa and Anna, the two sisters from Frozen, but then, she got numerous other requests from people to also recreate other Disney characters, such as Ariel, Moana, Belle, and many others. Take a look at these amazing transformations below!
