If you've ever seen photos of space launches, you've probably seen the handiwork of Ben Cooper, who has been taking incredibly detailed photos for NASA since 1999. Ben has taken photos of more than 100 launches, and to get a good shot, he needs to capture the unbelievable intensity of heat and power that every launch posses. He cannot, of course, stand close to the launch, and so he positions his equipment 12-24 hours before the launch and activates it by remote control, praying that it survives... |
