The artwork of AJ Fosik is what you would call frighteningly beautiful. The artist hails from Portland, Oregon, but you would probably guess India or another Far Eastern country due to his colorful and oriental themes. Fosik produces his three dimensional wall work and stand-alone sculptures using wood that is painted bright colors, harking at his Northwestern roots. Yet the scenes he depicts seem to focus on the idolatrous religions of the East, and particularly remind us of mystical images of the Hindu gods.
