The temple in these photos is unbelievable. It is made entirely out of beer bottles instead of building blocks. To make it, Buddhist monks from Thailand's Sisaket province collected a million bottles to build the Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew temple. That means the steps, the walls, the columns, all of it - is made with beer bottles held together with mortar. It is absolutely beautiful. However, somebody has to be drinking a lot of beer! |
