Once you decide to stop wearing clothes to bed, things get a lot simpler. Not having to buy any pajamas will save you some money, and you'll also have less laundry to wash, dry and put away. On the downside, you might have to wash your sheets more frequently, but not nearly as often as most people wash their pajamas.
2. It Makes You More Active in the Evening
Many people enjoy changing into their pajamas as soon as they get home from work, but this is then often used as an excuse to spend the rest of the evening at home. This could end up leading to a sedentary lifestyle, which is frequently associated with weight gain. If you keep your regular clothes on until bedtime, you're far more likely to get out of the house in the evening, and that's certainly a good thing.
3. You'll Feel Happier and More Free
Can you imagine lying naked in bed, free from the tight constraints of pants, underwear, or a bra? When it's nothing but you sandwiched between a couple of cool sheets, the feeling you get will make you want to smile. Everybody needs to feel good every now and then, and sleeping naked may even end up making you a happier person overall.

If you're married or cohabiting, then sleeping naked together will increase the frequency of skin-on-skin contact, especially when you're cuddling. Unsurprisingly, it can also lead to a more active sex life. All of this releases a good deal of oxytocin, which is a neurotransmitter that helps people feel good about each other.
5. Your Sleep Will Improve
With no clothes or drawstrings getting tangled in the sheets, you'll have a lot less distractions when trying to get some shuteye, and all of this will allow you to get deeper and better sleep.

Your feet, armpits, and private parts are usually restricted all day long, and tend to be covered in multiple layers. Sleeping naked will give your body a chance to breathe, and this can reduce your chances of getting athlete's foot or any other skin disease which is the result of wet and restricted skin.
7. It Helps Regulate Cortisol
If you sleep wearing clothes, the increased body temperature could cause your cortisol levels to remain high, which could lead to weight gain, unhealthy cravings, and increased anxiety. However, sleeping in the nude could help keep your body temperature and cortisol levels in check, thus avoiding these unnecessary issues.
8. It Balances Melatonin and Growth Hormones
Keeping a cool sleeping temperature night after night can help your body balance its growth hormone and melatonin levels. These chemicals slow down the aging process and are essential for good health. In other words, wearing pajamas to bed can make you grow older more quickly.

For women, cooler sleeping conditions may prevent yeast infections, since yeast requires warm and moist conditions to thrive. For men, sleeping in cooler conditions will keep sperm cells healthy, and the entire reproductive system functioning at optimum levels.
10. It Makes the Summer More Bearable
If your home doesn't have air conditioning installed, then sleeping in the summer can sometimes turn into a nightmare. Losing your clothes will allow you to sleep more comfortably, and you may even save some money by using the A/C less than usual.
