Photographer Alexander Khokhlov and makeup artist Valeriya Kutsan bring you this extraordinaty series of makeup portrats that play with the natural lines of their models' faces and make strange new forms in 2D and 3D, color as well as black and white.
The idea was to make the faces look like 2D creations, while using 3D makeup. The styles they used are varied, from water color to oil paintins, sketch to pop art.
