1. Waking up very close to when you fall asleep, or before 11:00 pm
Most people who don’t have medical problems will feel tired and exhausted at the end of a long, busy day, so when they fall asleep, they’ll fall asleep for at least a few hours. However, if you find yourself waking up shortly after you fall asleep or before 11 pm, you are experiencing high levels of stress and tension that interfere with your ability to reach a deep dream sleep.
In such a situation, the body can’t relax, and as worries persist in your brain, you suddenly find yourself waking up. Methods that help you fall asleep can also help your condition because they soothe the body, and will, therefore, prepare it for a deeper and more peaceful sleep.
2. Waking up between 11:00 pm and 1:00 am
According to Chinese medicine, the meridians are very focused on the gallbladder at this time of the night. The gallbladder is linked to self-acceptance, so if you wake up regularly during these hours, you may be experiencing constant emotional disappointment lately.
In order to deal with the problem, you have to start working on self-acceptance and at the same time delve deeper into empathy towards others and remember to be grateful for what you have. Let go of things you can’t control, and remember that after every night comes a new morning with plenty of opportunities to improve the situation.
3. Waking up from 1:00 to 3:00 am
Waking up between these hours indicates that your liver is working hard. If you wake up between 1 am and 3 am, you accumulate a lot of suppressed anger, and it seems that even though you don’t reveal much, you are dealing with difficult feelings. You probably find yourself tossing and turning at night and having trouble falling asleep once you wake up, so instead of getting into a cycle of negativity, you should get out of bed, drink a glass of water, and do some breathing or relaxation exercises.
4. Waking up between 3:00 and 5:00 AM
If you are the type of person who constantly wakes up between 3:00 and 5:00 AM, you should know that this is a time when the symptoms associated with your lung activity are expressed, which are responsible for the emotion of sadness. You try to contain quite a few heartbreaks, especially in the romantic realm, and these are feelings that burden you. It is possible that these are feelings about the past, and it is possible that they are relatively fresh ones that you have not yet finished getting over.
Try talking about what you feel with close friends, writing a diary, or even contacting a professional to take off some of the load. You’ll soon notice how you sleep better and feel more optimistic during the day which can also help you overcome the crisis and move on.
5. Waking up between 5:00 and 7:00 am
The colon is up and running during these hours, and if you wake up with it, it means that you are dealing with emotional barriers. To the outside observer it may seem that you are functioning normally and that your life is proceeding smoothly, but only you know what is truly bothering you. To treat the problem specifically you can stretch or go to the bathroom to allow the body to relax and have an easier time falling back into a short sleep until the alarm clock goes off.
However, if you wake up with the birds time after time and feel tired throughout the rest of the day, you should really look into your problems and find a solution to them. Sometimes things that we think have passed, continue to leave their mark on us, making it difficult for us to sleep.
