Smashed Chickpea Avocado Sandwich

Ingredients for Smashed Chickpea Avocado Sandwic:
Avocado - 1
Canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans) - 1 (15-oz) can (cooked)
Parsley - 2 tbsp. (chopped)
Salt and Pepper - to taste
Lime juice - 1/4 cup
Garlic powder - 1 tsp.
Lettuce - 2-3 leaves
Tomatoes - 1 (sliced)
Method of preparing the Smashed Chickpea Avocado Sandwic:
  1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients except the bread, lettuce, and tomatoes. Mash them all together with a fork or a potato masher until well combined. Taste and add more salt and pepper if desired.
  2. Spread some of the mixture into one slice of bread. Add toppings like tomatoes and lettuce. Enjoy!
