Carrot Orange Popsicles

These Easter-appropriate popsicles are such a refreshing sweet treat! And since the main ingredients are fresh oranges and carrots, they're super nutritious and packed full of fresh vitamins too. You can also enjoy this one straight away as a smoothie if you want to skip freezing times.

Ingredients for Carrot Orange Popsicles:
Carrots - 3/4 cup (peeled and roughly chopped)
Oranges - 6 (peeled)
Lemon - 1/2 (juiced)
Brown sugar - 3 tbsp.
Honey - 2 tbsp.
Method of preparing the Carrot Orange Popsicles:
  1. In a blender, process the carrots, oranges, lemon juice, sugar, and honey.
  2. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze until slushy.
  3. Insert sticks and freeze until solid – usually another 4 hours at least.
Chef's Tip:
You will need a popsicle mold and wooden ice cream sticks enough to make roughly 8 popsicles.
