Today is more windy than yesterday, will a return flight take the same time, less time, or the same amount of time to complete?
(The 'Google Riddles' are interview questions those who wish to get hired were asked).
Let's do a worked example. Lets say our plane has to travel 300 miles there and 300 miles back. It has a standard cruising speed of 600mph. In the case of no wind it will travel the 600 miles in 1 hour exactly. Simple enough. Let us say that the wind speed is 100mph so the plane will be wind assisted to 700mph and slowed to 500mph - Wind Assisted: 300 miles at 700mph takes 0.429 hours - Wind Slowed: 300 miles at 500mph takes 0.6 hours - Total Time: 1.029 hours
A couple went on for a climbing trip. But only the husband returned from the vacation and said that his wife slipped off while climbing and died. On investigating, the local sheriff arrested him saying, 'Your travel agent called. You murdered your wife.'
The man did not inform anyone about the trip. Then how did the agent was so sure that it is a murder?
The man bought only a one-way ticket for his wife whereas he bought a two-way ticket for himself. It means that he was sure that he will be returning alone.

How is this possible?

Jack then bumped into Don and told him that he would sell him his $2 pawn ticket for $1.50. Dan agreed. Since Jack started out with $2, and he ended up with $3, who is out the extra dollar and why?
Once there was an evil wizard. He took 3 women from their homes and turned them into rose bushes that looked exactly alike. He then put them in his garden.
One of the women had a husband and children and begged the wizard to let her see them. He agreed. At night he brought the woman to her house. In the morning he came and took her home.
The next day the husband decided to go rescue her. So he snuck into the wizard's garden. He looked and looked at the 3 identical rose bushes trying to figure out which could be his wife.

A man goes out drinking every night, returning to his home in the wee hours of every morning. No matter how much he drinks, he never gets a hangover. This drink is very well known, but is rarely consumed, served warm and taken straight from its source. The man is a sucker for a free drink, especially since he can't live without it. You've got a sack of corn, a chicken, and a fox. You have to cross a river, but you can only carry them one at a time. If you leave the chicken with the sack of corn, the chicken will eat the corn. If you leave the fox alone with the chicken, the fox will eat the bird.
How can you get all three things across the river safely?
Cross the river with the chicken, then go back and carry the corn over the river. However, instead of leaving the corn with the bird, return together with the chicken. Cross the river for the third time with the fox, leaving the chicken behind. Leave the fox with the sack of corn, and return for the last time to get the chicken. Done!
I have a clock in my house, on the wall.
On a summer's day I forgot to wind it and it stopped. Then I went to visit a friend who had a watch that was always right on time. After I stayed for a bit, I went home, made a simple alteration and set the clock just right.
Now how did I do this when I had no watch on me to tell how long it took me to come back from my friend's place?
Before I left, I wound the wall clock. Upon my return, the amount of change that I could see in the clock is how long it took to go to my friends place and come back, adding to that the time I spent there, which I know because the clock at my friend's place is accurate.
Subtracting the time of the visit from the time I was absent from my house, and dividing by 2, I obtained the time it took me to return home. I added this time to what my friend watch showed when I left, and set the sum on my wall clock.
The key to this riddle is realizing that you do not have to pull the emergency switch in the first room, the entrance, and so that room will not lock down. You can leave it, and then return to it and go out the other door. And indeed this is exactly what you need to do so you can hit all 16 rooms and end in the exit room.
Once you know to leave and reenter the first room, there are eight possible solutions to travel through all the rooms and end at the exit. Because the first room is clear, you can backtrack through it to get back on the right track and pull the emergency switch in every room, saving the world from agonizing death by ancient virus.
