Microwave Quiche

Microwave recipes are my guilty pleasure. So quick and so efficient! When you're running late or need to have a meal ASAP, make a quiche without having leftovers in your microwave. This recipe uses ham or prosciutto, but you can substitute it with spinach to make it vegetarian.

Ingredients for Microwave Quiche:
Egg - 1
Milk - 1 1/2 tbsp.
Salt - to taste
Ground black pepper - to taste
Bagel - 1/4 (or other French bread)
Cream cheese - 2 tsp.
Prosciutto - 1 slice (vegetarian alternative: spinach)
Thyme - to taste
Dijon mustard - to taste
Chives - to taste
Method of preparing the Microwave Quiche:
  1. Beat the egg and milk in a mug. Season with salt and pepper for taste.
  2. Tear your bread into 1-inch pieces and mix these in. Add in the cream cheese and stir.
  3. Cut prosciutto into pieces and add to the mixture. Sprinkle with thyme.
  4. Microwave on high for 1 minute and 10 seconds.
  5. Garnish with mustard and chives.
