Cucumber Mint Green Tea

You won't find a better cooling or refreshing drink than this one. This green tea gives you the freshness of both cucumbers and mint and is also super yummy. The fresh, clean, green taste of Japanese green tea blends perfectly with cool cucumber and mint. One glass of this super-hydrating drink will keep you chilled from the inside out.

Ingredients for Cucumber Mint Green Tea:
Japanese green tea - 8 cups (brewed)
Cucumbers - 1/2 cup (peeled, seeded, and pureed)
Fresh mint leaves - 1/4 cup (muddled and finely chopped)
Lime juice - 1/4 cup (from 2 large limes) (freshly squeezed)
Method of preparing the Cucumber Mint Green Tea:
  1. In a large pitcher, combine the green tea, cucumber puree, mint leaves, and lime juice. Stir well. Cover the pitcher chill the mixture for several hours.
  2. Now strain the mint and cucumber. Add simple syrup or another tea sweetener to sweeten if desired.
  3. Add ice to each glass. Garnish the rim with sliced cucumbers if desired.
