Mulled Wine Hot Chocolate

If during cold weather winds you feel like hot chocolate doesn't cut it anymore, allow us to present you with mulled wine hot chocolate. It's nothing special, but it's everything special at the same time: a classic, timeless cup o'cocoa, with some red hot wine.

Prep Time 2 minutes

Serves: 15

Difficulty Level: Low

Mulled Wine Hot Chocolate

Ingredients for hot chocolate:

Milk - 1 1/2 cups

Red wine - 1 cup

Dark chocolate - 1/3 cup (coarsly chopped)

Method of preparing the hot chocolate:

Combine the milk and chocolate chunks in a saucepan and place over medium heat. Stir constantly until fully melted and thick.
Pour in the red wine and stir until hot.
Serve in 2 large mugs. You can top with whipped cream, but that's only optional.
