1. Neural Sleeve: Bionic Clothing to Help You Walk With Ease

The Neural Sleeve, a revolutionary bionic wearable, is the result of a collaborative effort between California startup Cionic and Yves Béhar's design studio Fuseproject. This high-tech device uses electric pulses and artificial intelligence to correct impaired muscle movements, providing hope for people with limited mobility.

Specifically designed to wrap around the leg, the Neural Sleeve uses functional electrical stimulation (FES) to reduce walking challenges commonly associated with conditions such as multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injuries, and strokes.

The device began shipping in January, following FDA approval last year.

2. WowWee Dog-E: Interactive Robot Dog

Meet Dog-E, the robot dog designed for the entire family, allowing each member to customize their own version. Once unboxed, this mechanical marvel comes to life and creates a personality of its own through an enthralling array of colors and sounds. Owners can have a realistic pet care experience by naming their Dog-E, teaching it tricks, and caring about its requirements.

Dog-E displays emotions through genuine tail wags and barks, mimicking the behavior of a real dog. The bundle includes the robot, a removable collar, a magnetic dog toy, and a simple USB charging cable.

3. Oyster Tempo Cooler: A Cooler That Doesn’t Need Ice

A key feature of the Oyster Tempo is the DLTA technology, Oyster's patented integrated vacuum insulation system constructed from recyclable aluminum and chemical-free silica. This design maximizes thermal insulation, resulting in a cooler that is small while providing three times the internal space and maintaining three times the temperature of standard hard-sided models. The cooler's environmental impact is further reduced because it's completely recyclable. Oyster goes beyond cooling and believes that the DTLA thermal technology used could find utility in a variety of industries, including medicine and organ delivery.

4. Samba Robotic Toothbrush: To Clean Your Teeth For You

There are currently two choices available to people with physical or mental disabilities when it comes to maintaining oral hygiene: relying on a family member or caregiver or compromising their dental health by brushing their teeth independently. Research indicates that a staggering 88% of those with disabilities experience dental issues, highlighting the urgent need for a customized solution.

Developed over an extensive eight-year period, the Samba Robotic Toothbrush uses a revolutionary blend of low and high-frequency vibrations to move 12,900 soft bristles along the teeth in a dynamic brushing motion. This revolutionary technology eliminates the necessity for manual hand movements, providing individuals with a newfound sense of autonomy in their oral care routine. This breakthrough technology eliminates the need for manual hand movements, giving people a new sense of independence in their oral care regimen.

5. Axiom Holographics Hologram Zoo: The World's First Hologram Zoo

The first hologram zoo in the world has been established by Axiom Holographics, marking a revolutionary step forward in the entertainment industry. Situated in Brisbane, Australia, the visionary project has garnered significant attention. An extraordinary exhibition of lifelike 3D images of animals is displayed in the zoo, ranging from elephants, giraffes, and dinosaurs to polar bears and an enormous 25-meter whale, giving visitors a surreal experience. With over 50 holographic creatures, the zoo offers a modern-day interpretation of Noah's Ark, blending technology and nature in a groundbreaking display.

The makers of the exhibit believe it is a good way for the public to see and learn about wildlife without the need to keep animals captive.

6. Plumis Automist: Intelligent Fire Stopper

Traditional sprinkler systems tackle house fires with brute force, using a blanket-dousing tactic that frequently causes unneeded damage. After consulting with local firefighters, Yusuf Muhammad, the Chief Design Officer of Plumis, the parent company of Automist, identified the drawbacks and limited efficacy of this method.

Automist, on the other hand, uses data and infrared sensors to extinguish fires two to 14 times faster while using 90% less water. A smoke detector mounted in the ceiling activates this small spray head, which is the size of a light switch. Once activated, it searches the area and launches a concentrated mist blade, thereby limiting water damage and providing protection. This quicker response decreases not only the risk of property damage but also the risk of toxic smoke being breathed into the lungs of residents.

7. Therabody RecoveryTherm Cube: Heat & Cold Therapy Device For Instant Pain Relief

Wellness tech pioneer Therabody introduced its newest muscle recovery innovation in the form of a compact wearable device. Instead of alternating between hot and cold tub immersions, which has been shown to be effective in relieving muscular soreness, users can simply strap or hold the wireless RecoveryTherm Cube right onto the injured muscle. This device utilizes infrared and cryotherapy technology to provide precise spot treatments within the temperature range of 46°F (7.7°C) to 109°F (42.7°C), says Therabody's founder and chief wellness officer, Jason Wersland.

8. Vibrant System: A Vibrating Drug-Free Pill For Constipation

Traditional medications for constipation often have unpleasant side effects such as diarrhea, nausea, and headaches. Vibrant Gastro has developed a drug-free vibrating capsule that stimulates digestion to regulate bowel motions eight to ten hours after ingestion, when it reaches the large intestine. Scientific data supports its effectiveness in increasing bowel movement frequency as well as improving stool consistency and general quality of life.

The Vibrant System is an FDA-approved, prescription-only device for the treatment of chronic idiopathic constipation. It comes in a  starter kit with a drug-free vibrating pill and activation pod. You'll also be able to download an app to track your progress.
