Although most of us prefer to take a vacation during the summer months, there’s plenty going on around the world during the winter too. Regardless of whether you want to hit the slopes at a ski resort, or lounge on a beach in a tropical paradise, you’re actually spoiled for choice. Take a look at 20 of the hottest winter getaways:

20. Park City, Utah

Park City, Utah is considered to be one of the best places to ski in the entire United States. In addition, the city also has a thriving arts scene. Should you visit between January 18th and 28th, the great and good of the independent filmmaking world will be in town for the Sundance Film Festival.

The weather is more than manageable, and an added bonus of heading to Rome this time of year is that there are considerably smaller crowds of tourists for you to contend with.
