Delicious! I Never Thought of Using Rice Krispies Like This

Marshmallows are a tasty, versatile ingredient. But, I bet that you've never considered using them in this delicious way. In this tasty dessert, marshmallows are added to a skillet. And while, to start, it may seem like smores are on the menu, the recipe takes on a different direction.

You'll probably have a good idea of what's to come once you see a bowl of Cocoa Krispies added to the mix. After some thorough mixing, we end up with a skillet full of sticky, sweet Krispies. Probably enough for us to enjoy this delicious treat of gooey goodness. But it doesn't end here.

Next, the Krispies are spooned onto a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment or wax papper. Then the Krispies are flattened until they reach the edges of the sheet. The whole thing is then popped into the freezer for 15 minutes. Still not sure what's being made? Watch the video all the way through and you'll likely be preparing this delicious treat soon after. See direction for the recipe after the video.

Directions: Melt a knob of butter into a skillet then add a packet of marshmallows. Combine until the marshmallows melt. Add some Krispies to the marshmallow mix, just enough so that they will be coated through. Flatten the krispies on parchment paper on a baking tray and pop in the freezer for 15 minutes. Then cut a square from the sheet and wrap into a cone. Put the cone into a glass so that it keeps its shape and freeze until solid. Once removed from the freezer, add a scoop of ice cream and enjoy.
