The Stars of the 2016 LA Auto Show

The annual Los Angeles Auto Show is one of the biggest auto shows in North America. It's a grand occasion for both American and international car manufacturers, and many of them debut new cars, show off concepts and announce future plans at the event. Some of the world's biggest automotive brands were present at this year's edition. Here are the most exciting cars that were unveiled:

The Land Rover Discovery SUV made it to North America for the very first time.

Aston Martin presented the Vanquish S, a more powerful version of its flagship model.

It also presented the replacement for the DB9, called the DB11.

Porsche presented its 2nd generation Panamera sedan in various guises. The Turbo version is pictured.

The German marque also showed off its mid-engined 911 RSR race car.

Alfa Romeo's Stelvio Quadrifoglio SUV made its international debut in LA.
