I think everybody loves an occasional piece of fried chicken (or 10), and I am no different. But this here is the greatest, crunchiest and juiciest fried chicken I have ever had the pleasure to taste. And what makes this recipe so extraordinary is its surprisingly ordinary secret ingredient. 1. Add the flour to a small mixing bowl. Combine with salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried mixed herbs.
2. Add the secret mashed potato powder and mix it all together thoroughly.
3. In a separate bowl, add the two eggs and mix together with water to make an egg wash.
4. Dip each chicken piece into the egg wash, then into the flour mix, covering completely. Put the pieces together onto a large plate and set them aside for 20 minutes.
