The Minimalist Capsule Tower!

The Nangakin capsule tower is a tall building at the luxurious neighborhood of Ginza, Tokyo. Only a quick look will quickly reveal it shares little with the other buildings on the street. It was designed as an urban business hotel to provide low cost housing for business men working late in Tokyo during the week.

But, instead of a hotel, the 13 story building functions as a residential and office space. Since that space is about 3.8x2.1x2.3 meters, a size we usually only see in sci-fi movies, it begs the question, is this how we will live in the future, as population rises?
