Creative, Beautiful, Mesmerizing - Ballet on the Streets of New York City

Who said ballet only belongs in the theater? Omar Z. Robles, a photographer based in New York City, disagrees, and in his works, he marries this beautiful art of movement with the vibrant rhythm of the city. Robles invited dancers from the American Ballet Theatre, Ballet Concierto de Puerto Rico, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, and others into the streets of New York City and captured their incredible pirouettes and pliés mid-air. And we must say, the resulting combination of graceful movements and the bustling city as a background is indeed powerful and mesmerizing!
