It’s Always a Good Time for Some Stevie Wonder Tunes!

Stevie Wonder once said his favorite word is ‘blessed’. He was blessed with music, blessed to survive a car crash in 1973, and blessed with his children. Wonder was born Stevland Hardway Judkins, on May 13, 1950. He was born six weeks premature, which resulted in retinopathy, an eye disorder which was exacerbated when he received too much oxygen in an incubator, leading to blindness.

Wonder showed an early gift for music, first with the church choir and later with a range of instruments including the harmonica, piano, and drums, all of which he taught himself before the age of 10. It is no wonder then that this child prodigy went on to become one of the most prominent and creative musical figures of the 20th century. Over time, even his blindness became to be considered a kind of blessing, or at least it has certainly defined how people know him and how they appreciate his talent. We hope you enjoy this playlist with timeless hits like “Superstition”, “Part-Time Lover” and  "You Are the Sunshine of My Life".
