The Multitude of Colorful Birds Only Found in Jamaica

Planning your next vacation? How about a cruise? Sail the open oceans and take in the warmth of the basking sun reflecting against the sea. The Caribbean sea, to be exact, a fun adventure that lets you get away while staying a little close to home. A must-see destination would absolutely have to be Jamaica, the jewel of the Caribbean, and it's third-largest island. Jamaica is known to be an island Rastafarian culture, where reggae beats pump through the streets, and everything has an added Jamaican spice

However, what really makes Jamaica the place to visit is its lush array of colorful and powerful wildlife. Because of immense agricultural settlements in the past, coupled with Jamaica's unique climate, the island supports an incredibly diverse ecosystem, including over 3000 different flowers and numerous species of bats. Jamaica is most famous, though, for its wide variety of native and endemic birds. These fine feathered friends come in a wide variety of unbeatable shapes, sizes, and colors and they can only be found in this beautiful haven of nature known as Jamaica!
