Soar Among the Stars With Gorgeous Astronomy Photographs!

The never-ending expanse that is the universe surrounding our tiny planet is a truly gorgeous black canvas filled with sparkling bursts of light and color. Those who study everything that lies beyond the sky we can see are usually privy to stunning sights like lunar eclipses, rare movements of planets and stars, and even the natural phenomenons that occur just above our planet’s atmosphere, like thunderstorms and the Aurora Borealis, also known as the northern lights. To help share the beauty of space with the rest of us weighed down by gravity, Insight Investment conducts an annual Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, organized by the Royal Observatory Greenwich. When these brilliant photographers look into the stars, this is what they see. These winning photos of 2019, in all the different categories, will leave you open-mouthed in absolute awe!
