What Kind of Angry Are You?

Everyone gets angry from time to time. While viewed as a negative emotion, it is something that is part of life. Sometimes anger is justified, it's how that anger is felt and expressed that makes it different. We all get mad a little differently. This test will help you find out the kind of angry you get.

For months you had been prepping your garden to grow some delicious tomatoes. The day arrives to pick them and make a dish of them, but to your horror squirrels have eaten them all! You...
Break down in tears. All that hard work, wasted by vermin!
Are done. You will never grow vegetables again and you will forever hold a grudge toward squirrels
Sigh and make a joke about it to friends
You begin cursing and shouting at to the squirrels hoping they will hear. Not that they will understand you anyway. But you'll probably be moaning about this for weeks to come
What is life? Why am I to be punished?
You flip out and kick a nearby shovel over. Argh you are furious. Maybe you should grab the shovel and teach those squirrels a lesson?

Somebody tries to pick a fight with you in the street, what do you do?
You get anxious and nervously try to talk your way out of it. The last thing you need is a fight right now
You look to the floor and allow them to push you about and talk crap to you. They slap you about a bit and then leave. You sigh and continue whatever you were planning to do
You return the aggression and equally square up to them. This will likely result in a hot headed fight between the two of you but you don't care. You're ready to smash the punks face in
You keep your distance but you don't mind giving them an earful, who the hell do they think they are?!!
Your heart starts racing and you feel your fists clenching, you REALLY don't want to end up fighting this person but you are currently having an internal battle with yourself trying to keep your cool. If that lid pops, who knows what will happen...
Try to avoid the fight by all costs, either threatening to call the police or reasoning with them. I mean, they are pissed for a reason right?

You arrive at the bar to meet some friends and get yourself a drink while you wait. The bartender is really busy and you wait a good 20 minutes until you are finally served, you turn around and lift the drink to your lips ready to have a sip and someone walks into you accidentally, knocking your drink all over you. You...
Accept their apology and laugh it off
You gasp and desperately try to dry off your clothes, you rush into the restroom and try to dry them but it's no use. You feel kinda down for the rest of the night, that was your favorite shirt man
They apologize, you say nothing and wait for your friends. But when they arrive, you can't stop looking at the wet patch on your top and crotch. Why does this shit have to happen to me?
You start a fight with them obviously!
Hail abuse at them, call them all kinds of names under the sun and demand they buy you another drink, in fact make that two drinks!
You grit your teeth and sigh heavily before taking a deep breathe and shrugging it off. Losing your temper over this would be a little over the top. Besides you came to drink with friends not cave someones face in

On your way home early from work you stop to pick up some dinner. As you walk past a restaurant you catch a glimpse of your partner with another woman/man. They are holding hands and it's obviously romantic. Up until this moment you believed your relationship was solid as a rock. What do you do?
The anger hits you like a tsunami and you flip out, shouting and attacking the closest inanimate object to you, probably a bin, smashing everything around you. It doesn't help but it sure as hell feels good to blow off the steam
You storm inside shouting and screaming, demanding explanations, causing a huge scene
You shutdown and go completely numb as you watch in shock. You have an overwhelming feeling of emptiness fill your very being as you slowly carry on walking, your head down and thoughts lost to the world
Text them telling them it's over, you saw what they did. Embrace the sadness, but intend to move on
You will likely burst into tears there and then or at home
Feel the anger consume you, rush in and start ferociously attacking on the person who is with your soul mate. Nothing else matters, only the pain you are about to make them feel

What are your thoughts on violence?
Best way to solve an problem is with a little scrap. Straightens you both out
I try to avoid violence but if I am pushed too far, I can be the definition of violence
I hate seeing violence it makes me nervous
Violence doesn't solve anything
It doesn't bother me. I have my morals but it is what it is
Well, I don't enjoy violence... But if somebody attacked me I would defend myself of course

You bought a new film online a few days ago and decided you wanted to watch it tonight. It's been a stressful day at work, you deserve to relax. So you go out and buy snacks and drinks and invite a friend over, only to realize your partner has taken your laptop with the movie on it. The worst part is they are staying out tonight... What do you do?
Curse a few times before ringing them and explaining you needed it tonight and demand they apologize
You are disappointed but try to make a new plan
You get so angry you think of some way to punish them for this
You ring them up and give them an earful. The cheek of it!
You intend to have a gentle chat with them when they come back, just to explain that it was a bit rude to take without asking
Well that's our plans ruined. Thanks a lot!
You will take something of theirs that's important without asking and hide it

You stub your toe. What do you do?
Swear to the high heavens. The whole neighborhood could probably hear your potty mouth right now. Who the heck put that there anyway?!
Cry. Ouchie!
Why does this happen to me?
Curse and go on with my day
Attack whatever you stubbed your toe on. IT WILL PAY!
You shout a few horrid curses as you clench your fist. Your eyebrows are so arched right now you look like you could kill somebody

You made a mistake at work and your boss has flipped out, shouting in your face. How do you respond?
Shout louder
Get upset
You use every ounce of willpower you have to stop yourself from tearing them apart. Your hands begin to shake and your breathing gets heavier. The anger is so visible that your boss would notice. If they stop arguing you may be able to calm yourself. If they taunt your reaction or carry on. You are going to keep hitting them until your hands go numb
Look at the floor and take it
Punch them straight in the kisser
Apologize, but then when they have calmed down explain that you do not wish to be spoken to like that

You go to the cinema only to be sat in in front of the noisiest person there. They have their knees digging into your back, they are talking loudly and the light from their phone is distracting you. What do you do?
Turn around and SHHH! Every time they make a noise
Sigh and ignore it, you paid to watch the film, don't let them ruin it for you
Tell the person to stop, if they carry on or get cheeky, rat them out to the usher
Move seats
Get really pissed off but avoid saying anything to avoid confrontation. You just can't justify kicking someone's head in over something so petty
It ruins the experience for you and you wish you never came

You have a dream about your partner cheating on you. You wake up next to them and...
Say nothing, it was only a dream. I know they are loyal to me
Worry about why you're having dreams like that. You may even feel a little sad
Sigh heavily as it takes some time for the dream to pass. You will probably be quieter than usual until it passes
Have a go at them for cheating on you in your dream
Wake up feeling pissed off with them
Pull them in for a tight cuddle and playfully explain the dream to get reassurance
Consuming
You have the right morals. You don't want to lose your temper but it is your greatest flaw. Its claws grip you and choke you until it has its way with you. If you can remove yourself from the situation before that happens you will find sanctuary. If not, the devastation you can cause is unrivalled. You will not explode on everything around you. Rather, ALL of your anger, that has been bottled will explode on the one person who happened to trigger it. They will not stand a chance against your temper.
Fire
Your anger burns like a fire, destroying everything in its path. Your anger is ferocious but has no direction. Once you are angry, anything and everything is your target. Like when a bull sees red. Your hot-headed thinking makes all logic and rational disappear. You flip out and what's done, is done. There will be no turning back.
An Angry Tongue
You are well equipped with verbal weaponry when your angry. You can come across as bold and intimidating and know exactly what to say to hurt somebody. Nobody can win an argument against you and most will avoid getting into one with you in the first place!
Numbed through pain
You seem to shut down in situations that would arouse anger. It seems you go into a state of minor shock and your mind struggles to deal with the current situation. You are the kind of person bullies would get bored of. You're like a concrete stone on the outside, but on the inside... You are hurting more than they think.
Despair
Situations that would usually arouse anger bring about sadness and depressed feelings instead. You are the sensitive type. You feel pain more than others and will allow thoughts and encounters to fester and eat away at your sanity. Your gentle soul require careful handling and in the end - when you get angry you suffer more than the people you're angry at.
In Control
You have your temper in good check. That means that when you are angry - the situation actually calls for it. Everyone gets angry, but you always react in a measured way, never escalating the situation. This kind of control indicates a strong will and experience with emotional balancing. You are probably a very mature and well-adjusted person.
