2. Lemon and baking soda

Simply grate the potato, squeezing out the juice and apply it to your skin, allowing it to set for 15 minutes, then rinse with water and apply a moisturizer.

Turmeric contains a compound known as curcumin which reduces and regulates the excess production of melanin responsible for dark complexions. 6. Coconut oil

8. Sugar and olive oil
For a homemade scrub to nourish, hydrate and remove dead skin cells from your skin prepare a scrub made from sugar and olive oil in equal amounts. Then apply it to the knees and elbows and massage in circular motions for about five minutes. Repeat this on a weekly basis.
