This Baker Makes Cake Popsicles from Cake Scraps

Have you ever seen a more unique popsicle? These fabulous creations are done by Raymon Tan, also known as Ray Ray, a self-taught baker from Melbourne. About three years ago, while completing his Master's Degree in Accounting, he took up the humble hobby of baking. That year, he baked his first cake, inviting his closest friends and family to test his new skills. Ray Ray is best known for unique cake designs, and cake pops - or as he likes to call them, 'cake popsicles.' This idea came about from him using cake scraps as well as failed attempts at bad recipes. He says that popsicle shapes give him a slightly bigger canvas to play with. 

 

His cakes are available in a variety of flavors, from classic butter pound, to black sesame, spinach and most recently, white lotus and salted egg yolks. Some of his favorite designs are inspired by architecture, mythical creatures, elements of nature and also, cartoon characters. Take a look at his incredible work below:
