How to Keep Toys Clean

Kids can make things pretty messy around the house, and if you just happen to have young grandchildren, things might get out of control around your home from time to time. I’ve got two young grandchildren who love to make their toys dirty and stick things in their mouth. Therefore, I needed to find a non-toxic solution that I can clean their toys with. Thankfully, this one is simple to make and completely natural.

How to Make a Non-Toxic Toy Cleaner

What You Will Need

• 1 cup water
• 1 cup distilled white vinegar
• Essential oil (lavender or lemon)
• Clean, empty spray bottle
• Measuring jug

Directions

1. Add 1 cup of water to the measuring jug.

2. Add 1 cup of white distilled vinegar to the jug.

3. Add your chosen essential oil scent. (The amount you add is completely down to you, but remember that less is more – especially when creating something that is child-friendly. I recommend using 3-4 drops).

4. Transfer the mixture into a clean and empty spray bottle. You’re now ready to wipe away the dirt and germs from your grandchildren’s favorite toys.
