These May Look Alive, But They're Just Well Made...

 
Yumi Okita is a talented artist living in North Carolina. She creates these beautiful embroideries that depict giant, fuzzy moths, with beautiful realism and color. Her creations are often extremely detailed, including the fur, eyes, legs, antennae and fine wing patterns of the real thing. 
 
There is a strangely satisfying difference between the beauty of Yumi's creations and the creeps we would usually get if a moth was actually this size. I, for one, just love what she's done with her art. Maybe if I got a big moth the smaller ones would dare come by...
