Foods You Didn't Know You Could Grill

Fruit Barbecue

Summer’s on the way, and I’m thinking about all the luscious foods I can cook on the grill. But soon enough, the novelty of hot dogs and hamburgers tends to wear off. What about fruit? After all, the grill isn’t just for cooking meat – you can cook amazingly healthy and mouth-watering veggie sides, fruits and even desserts. Here is a full-fruit BBQ plan.

Ingredients for fruit BBQ:
Cantaloupe - 1 (seeded, peeled and sliced)
Honey - as needed
Smoked paprika - as needed
Apples - 3 (cored and thickly sliced)
Butter - 3 tbsp. (melted)
Ground cinnamon - as needed
Halloumi cheese - 15 cubes (or any other grill-able cheese)
Skewers - as needed
Grilled Vegetable Mix

Grilled vegetables are the best companion to your grilled meat. It's a nice complimentary serving of carbs and flavor to go with any type of meat you grill. This time we're serving you with some less-likely grilled vegetables that deserve a spot on the rack.

Salt and Pepper - as needed
Olive oil - as needed
Brussels sprouts - 1 pack (frozen or fresh)
Frozen soy pods - 1 pack
Balsamic vinegar - as needed
