Untranslatable Words of Love from Other Languages

Love is not only one of the strongest and most desired feelings known to humans, it is also a complicated emotion full of nuances and complexities. Although English is a rich and descriptive language, there are some aspects of love that we can only describe by combining words together into longer sentences and phrases.  In other languages, however, many of these 'loving' feelings can be expressed through individual words, and illustrator Emma Block has produced a touching collection of sketches for her series More Than Just a Wordand they capture the essence of these untranslatable words perfectly. Perhaps it's time for English to borrow some of these words and adopt them as their own?
