This Is a Place Where Fire Meets Water With Violent Force.

Hawaii is the only state in the world that continues to grow in land mass. Due to the volcanic activity that occurs on a regular basis, lava spills into water and becomes land, thus increasing the size of the island state.

Nick Selvi and C.J Kale, a pair of brave photographers, decided to shoot the unique phenomenon. They wrapped their cameras with protective materials, went into the hot water, mere meteres from the point where the lava meets the water, and brought us these amazing photos.
