There are Supermen Among Us - Amazing!

We as humans have a wide array of individual abilities, strengths and weaknesses. But some people, either born with a special talent or developed one themselves, take that one additional step that surprises and amazes us. Here are a few of our personal favorites:

Some call him the French Spider-man, but his mother calls him Alain. Alain Robert has performed free climbs of some of the tallest structures in the world, without any special gear other than his climbing shoes and some chalk for his hands.

super humans
Like warriors of legend, Isao Machi's reflexes are almost supernaturally fast. Isao can cut a speeding pellet in midair. His precision and speed with a sword is unmatched.

Rumored to have ice water for blood, Wim Hof is a Dutch daredevil who has run a marathon in the arctic at -20 degrees Fahrenheit while shirtless! He also is the world champion at being immersed in ice, and has successfully achieved a record of an hour and 44 minutes. (The editor of this article thinks he can do three minutes, but declined to try).

super humans
Everyone was thinking about funerals when strongman Tom Owen announced he wanted a truck with 20 kids to drive over him, but in spite of some internal bleeding and a few broken ribs, Tom counted this a success.

super humans
How many lightning strikes can one man survive? Roy Cleveland Sullivan's answer is: At least seven times. This unlucky super human was hit on average every 5 years since the first hit, and has survived them all.

super humans

super humans

super humans
