Unfolding a Vision - Amazing!

The most common form of paper folding, or origami, is creating shapes, characters or structures out of paper, while playing with their shape and making it into a three dimensional object. But there is another type of paper folding art, less familiar but no less astonishing.

Simon Schubert is a German artist who is an expert in a rarer form of paper folding, and one, we feel, is much harder to accomplish well. What is special about his works is that the creation is not completed until after he has reopened the paper, after he's finished folding it. W

ith rock steady nerves and amazing precision, Schubert folds the paper in certain patterns and they opens the paper to reveal an amazing creation.
