In 1988, after several years of intense love, artist Marina Abramović and German Artist Ulay decided to make a spiritual journey which would end their relationship. Each of them walked the Wall of China, starting from the two opposite ends and meeting in the middle. After each of they walked 2500 km, they met in the middle and said good-bye. 22 years later, Marina is sitting at her exhibition, the purpose of which was to stare silently in the eyes of a stranger for a few minutes. Anyone who wanted to sit across her was invited. Then, without her knowing, Ulay appeared as a surprise to her. This was the first time they saw each other since 1988.
