Fantastic Photos of Dutch Windmills in Fog

A couple of week ago Albert Dros, a Dutch photographer, shot these glorious photos on a magical morning. On the morning in question, thick fog covered the area of the famous windmill village Zaanse Schans in the Netherlands. It was like he had entered a fairytale.

 

Zaanse Schans is a very popular tourist destination. Throughout the day it is packed with thousands of tourists and it’s quite unpleasant to walk about there, but when the tourist shops and restaurants shut, the buses leave and the area gets completely empty, it is a wonderful place to be.
