A Fantastic Natural All-Purpose Cleaner

When it comes to keeping your home clean, vinegar is your best friend - it's natural and safe, it's inexpensive, and it's a powerful disinfectant. However, when we have finished cleaning the house, we want it to smell fresh, not burn our nostrils out. That is where this all-natural vinegar mixed with lemon and thyme cleaning spray comes in. It has the scrubbing capabilities of vinegar, but leaves a lovely, refreshing smell.

Natural All-Purpose Cleaner

This DIY cleaner can be used to degrease oven surfaces, get rid of counter stains, sanitize cutting boards, and wipe away mold and mildew in the bathroom. However, we don't recommend using it to clean marble as it can cause etching.

If you don't like lemon and thyme, you could use:

• Lavender
• Rosemary
• Orange peels
• Peppermint, balsam fir, tea, or citrus essential oil
• Cloves
• Cinnamon Sticks
• Eucalyptus

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10-14 days

Ingredients
• 2 lemons (peels only)
• Small bunch of fresh thyme sprigs
• 2 cups distilled white vinegar
• 1 tablespoon Castille soap (optional)
• 2 cups water

Equipment
• 24 oz spray bottle
• Mason jar

Directions
1. Add the lemon peels and fresh thyme to the mason jar and cover them with the distilled white vinegar. Screw the lid onto the jar and allow the vinegar to infuse for 10-14 days.
2. Once the vinegar has infused, strain the thyme and lemon peel out and transfer 1/2 cup of the solution to a spray bottle. Add the water and Castille soap (if using) to dilute the vinegar. Place the spray nozzle on the bottle and give it a good shake in order to mix all the ingredients.
3. Spray the surface that needs to be cleaner, and wipe it with a wet sponge or towel.
