England's Vast Countryside Really Is a Thing of Wonder!

I long for the countryside. That's where I get my calm and tranquility - from being able to come and find a spot of green. ~ Emilia Clark

England is known as the 'green and pleasant land' for good reason. It might receive a lot of rain, but the yearly precipitation breathes color into archetypally beautiful landscapes - full of rolling hills, patchwork fields, and icy lakes. The ancient lands in these photos have captivated people for many centuries, yet as you wander around them, you still get the sense that you are somehow treading paths that have not been trodden before. This presentation and accompanying quotes bring the English countryside straight to your desktop, we hope you enjoy the tour!
