The vast continent of Africa is home to countless destinations that are worthy of a visit, but the 15 I'm about to show you on this list really take the cake. From the astonishing wildlife of the Serengeti, to the souk of Marrakech, and the tropical islands of the Indian Ocean, there's something here to see for everyone. Here are 15 must-visit places in Africa:

Merzouga is a small village that's highly popular with travelers to Morocco. It's actually located in the Sahara Desert and is surrounded by enormous sand dunes. The Berber tribe, who are nomads, call the area home. Join a camel safari in the dunes to sample their lifestyle, and if you visit in the spring, be sure to do some bird-watching.

Praslin is the second-largest island in the Seychelles.
